Hello everyone,
Question 1
I do know what to begin; since, I have been listening to this audio CD for two days on how to answer this question regard to loving-kindness practice. Personally, I am not kind of person reacted to loving and kindness of putting my subconscious mind to practice. The only thing that I noticed for this exercise would be to show an affection to other strangers that one might have encountered in one's daily lives such as performed good deeds. It might be called to put one 's spiritual and psychological in practice for individual to use.
Therefore, I found this exercise to be more difficult for me to answer or giving other people an advice about loving-kindness; while I have problems of related to my own decisions from daily. It might be from individual to find peace or comfort zones within their lives. I would not recommended to other if individual was not able to know one's inner thought or feeling toward others.
Question 2:
The concept of mental workout focused on daily commitments such as in loving-kindness and subtle mind practices. The benefit of mental workout would be in contemplative practices that the mind was able to expand beyond our consciousness thought or feeling such as the driving human flourishing.
The author did mention of beginning short exercises or relaxation techniques for 5 to 15 minutes per days until one was able to practice longer period of times for the body and mind interconnected with each others. In this way, the body was able to change some of activities that one incorporated in daily usage to promote integral health.

Hi Vibol,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your post because it is very honest. As you mentioned adapting ourselves to having the mind set of loving-kindness can be quite difficult for some. I feel as though one way that we can truly carry out the message as you said would be becoming practical in the ways that we interact with our surrounding's. We dont necessarily have to be walking around with a smile on our face all day but the knowledge of knowing the right and proper ways to be can take us a long way. This will only cultivate a positive sense of self.
